This Glam candle holder was made from Dollar Tree supplies. I made these as part of a glam decor challenge. If you want to check it out go and view this link. I made three projects for this challenge, but this one was my favourite!
Glam Candle Holder Supplies:
Supplies per cone candle
DT Round bowls
DT silver napkins rings
DT Silver storage containers
Non adhesive bling wrap
Using E-6000 glue the two spheres to either side of one of the silver napkin rings and let dry. Once dry attach another napkin ring to one end, and then attach the single bowl that was painted silver to the other side. This serves as the stand for our glam candle holder.
At this point you should have two spheres and a single bowl being held together with 2 napkin rings, as in the photo below.
Although these are shaping up nicely, they need a bit of finishing to cover up the seams on the spheres. For the trim I used non-adhesive bling wrap cut 2 rows wide and long enough to wrap around the centre of the spheres. Attach using E-6000 and let dry.
For the top of the candle holder I used these metal storage containers. Leaving them closed and applied another 2 rows of bling wrap around the lid section.
And this completes your candle holders. These are so easy and pretty. I just added a dollar store fat cylinder candle to the top, it fits perfectly on the container.
I made my glam candle holder in silver, but there’s no reason you couldn’t change the paint colour to any fun colour that you like, and leave the napkin rings and bling as a silver for accent.
